Due to the celebration of the birthday of the King’s Mother, Monday was declared holiday here in Thailand. Today, we were scheduled to have a bike tour around Ayutthaya with the student of Ms. Sherina. At around 10:30 in the morning, we went to the rental shop for bicycle and motorcycle to have ours for the tour. When we had our own, we started the tour going to the school I was assigned which was Anuban. The sun was in its full glory that why it was extremely hot and some of us were sweating hard and skin were burnt already. After Anuban, we went to Watkhian School which is also the host school of one of our batch mates. To cool down, we went to a restaurant named – A Lovely Place which offer desserts more than anything else. I ordered a Iced Matcha Green Tea and brownies and it was really good. For our lunch, we ate at the restaurant just beside the first one we ate in and they offered good food also like the one I ordered, Seafood and Thai Omelet Rice. We rested for a moment and then proceed with our tour. Next, we went to ARU for our Muslim companions to pray. Then, we proceeded to the Elephant park where we saw elephants. It was really surreal for me because it’s another first for me. Unfortunately, there were a lot of tourist and the line was so long. As a remedy we just visited a traditional Thai house which was near the park. It was majestic to have visited this kind of ruins. Before we left the park, we took pictures. At around 4:30 PM, we hurriedly went back to the rental store to bring back the cycles, because we were only allowed to have it until 6PM. After returning, we parted ways. Some of us went back the dorm and the others had their groceries in Amporn Supermarket.
