I was so hyped today knowing that we are about to go Bangkok. Ray and Mon told us that we will be seeing each other at around 8 and it happened. We went to the train station but the train arrived 9AM so we had to wait for 30 minutes for it. While waiting, I can observe that there are really a lot of tourists here. By the way, the train is free of charge for Thai citizens only. When the train arrived, it took us almost 1 hour to get to Bang Sue station. From there we rode the MRT to the nearest station going to Chatuchak. I was really mesmerized by the vastness of this market. It was about 10 hectares and around is 15000 stalls which are arranged according to their sections such as home decor, accessories, clothes etc. Ray told us that we will meet at the same point we scattered at around 12:30 so we had almost 3 hours to spare to get around the market. I was able to buy the things I went there for and some extras, and when I saw my wallet I want to cry HAHA. But if you’re clever to ask discount and find the best but cheapest finds, you can save a lot. I cringed whenever I looked in my watch because I want to get to see all the stalls but we only have limited time. At exactly 12:30 Ray and Mon sent their location for us to be there. When we all arrived, we then proceed to a big mall here in Bangkok which is Future Park. When I say big, it’s really big. We ate there and strolled a bit. After a while, we rode a van back to Ayutthaya.
